Instruction is central to learning. Differential instruction helps students understand new ideas. Student engagement increases comprehension and unlocks a students mind. Using questioning strategies helps get students engaged and active in class. At Frontier, problem solving is a skill we teach our students. Cooperative learning, team teaching, peer tutoring and one on one instruction are all strategies we use in our classrooms. We want our students to use technology as a tool and master skills that will translate to success in the Real World. Whether a student wants to attend a higher learning institutions or enter the workforce, they will be prepared and have a path to follow. We will connect our students with people and opportunities. Every great person had a teacher that shaped them and helped them believe that one day they could achieve greatness. We believe in our students at Frontier High Middle School.
